A delicious desert containing healthy alternative ingredients so that you don’t have to feel guilty about eating chocolate!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1 avocado
1 banana
1tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp maple syrup/honey
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp chocolate powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Handful of berries (to serve)
Desiccated coconut (to serve)
Yogurt (optional – to serve)


Put the avocado, banana, coconut oil, maple syrup/honey, cacao powder, chocolate powder and vanilla essence in a blender and blitz until creamy and thick.

Spoon the mixture out into glasses or bowls, adding berries and yogurt (if you so wish). Refrigerate if needed and sprinkle with desiccated coconut to serve.
